E36 Rear Trailing Arm Pocket Reinforcements

The E36 rear trailing arm pockets have always been a point of concern on the E36 chassis. This is where your rear trailing arm bushings get tucked up in your chassis, but the sheet metal from the factory seemed to be too thin and with track driving, can develop cracks. Our one piece rear trailing arm pocket reinforcements are the perfect solution.

These reinforcements can either be welded in or mechanically bonded to the cars surface. By attaching reinforcement plates, it acts a doubler to the metal and distributes the loads an stress over a thicker piece of metal. (Since these are in very close proximity to the fuel tank, it is recommended to mechanically bondy if you do not remove the tank, safety first.)
