SRF is a truly impressive brake fluid with the highest boiling points of any brake fluid we currently sell. It's a silicone-based fluid that is hydrophobic and will not absorb moisture. SRF is compatible with the rubber seals and metals used in conventional glycol-based braking systems so it can be used in almost all cars.

Silicone fluids will need more frequent bleeding than conventional fluids. Since it does not absorb moisture, water will sit in the system and turn to vapor when it boils. The vapor, and any remaining water, will need to be bled out to avoid excessively spongy brakes and long pedal travel.
