ATE Brass Brake Caliper Guide Pin Kit

This kit replaces the mushy rubber bushings (BMW #34111157038) with high quality precision machined brass. Our solid guide pins and machined brass guide bushings allow your calipers to squeeze evenly on both sides of the brake rotor - just like expensive multi-piston big brake kits. The results are significantly longer pad life and more consistent brake system feel. These bushings work best in track/race cars with stock calipers that see significant caliper flex under hard braking. Benefits on the street will be minimal since you won't get the same deflection as seen on the track. Fits all BMW single-piston calipers made by ATE. Please verify legality if used for racing. 

Unlike other kits on the market, the BimmerWorld solid guide bushings are race proven and made in the USA. Brake guide bolts require regular cleaning and greasing to work effectively. They are not "install and forget" items. For this reason our solid caliper guides do not use dust caps or seals and we promote regular maintenance for safe and effective braking. We make these specifically for BMW Ate calipers (not universal fit with Audi, VW, and other calipers) with tighter tolerances than other kits.

Do not use the outer caliper anti-rattle clip with solid guide bushings. This causes the caliper to bind when it should slide freely.
