Let's add some more stopping power to your E46 M3! We now offer brackets for the E46 M3 so you can install the popular Porsche Brembo 996/Boxster-S caliper upgrade. CNC Machined Brackets are designed to fit a Porsche 996 Brembo front caliper to the E46 M3 front spindle.

There is only one rotor option for this bracket, the E46 M3 CSL 345mm fronts.  This requires 5.5mm to be machined from the mounting boss of the caliper.

*If you would like to have your calipers sent in to be machined down, please send us an email at info@racegerman.com before ordering. A $50 discount is applied if you purchase the brackets at the same time.

This kit with 345mm diameter rotor is for 18 inch diameter or larger wheels only.  As stated before, the only modification required is to machine 5.5mm of material from the mounting boss of the calipers.  Once the caliper is machined, the E46 M3 CSL 345x28mm floating rotor is a bolt on setup for this bracket.

Brackets are made from 7075-T6 Aluminum and MIL spec black anodized for corrosion resistance.  The studs are made from 17-4 PH pre-hardened stainless steel.  Calipers are secured to the bracket/stud combo with supplied aircraft jet nuts and washers.

Calipers used for this conversion are front calipers from the 1999-2004 Porsche 996 (non-turbo), the Boxster S or the Cayman S.  All these calipers are made from the same Brembo casting.

The Porsche caliper part numbers for this conversion are:
996.351.425 (driver side)
996.351.426 (passenger side)

Calipers will vary in color between Porsche model and options, but the castings will be the same as will the piston sizes.

Proper pad placement with this bracket gives a full sweep of the rotor surface.  No rust rings on your rotor when using this brake setup.

You will need longer brake lines to install this kit.  We are now offering these as an option.
