This little cable is a must if you 24V swapped your E30. The E36 engine harness has a 20 pin service port. This adapter allows you to hook up to this port and connect your OBD2 scanner. An easy, and affordable solution to run codes on your engine swapped BMW.
Note: This cable does not convert your car from OBD1 to OBD2. This is controlled by your DME. The cable will not allow you to read OBD2 codes from an OBD1 car.
Cable is compatible with the following models: E36, E38, E39, E46, E53, X5, and Z3.
