The E30 hood quick release kit is a product you never knew you wanted until you have it. At the track, we found ourselves needing to open the hood to check fluids, hoses, electrcal connections and other vital components of the engine. Although opening the door, reaching down and opening the hood the traditional way isn't the hardest thing in the world, we felt it would be a lot more convenient to have a quick release outside of the car.
Our unique hood quick release kit attaches to your E30 with absolustely no modification and most importantly retains the stock OEM interior hood release. Made from high grade teflon coated galvanized steel cable and aluminum crimping sleeves, these cables have a breaking strength of 500 lbs!
