BMW Valve Cover Grommet / Sealing Washer

Don't overlook the small parts when replacing your BMW valve cover gasket. These OE replacement valve cover grommets are the rubber sealing washers located underneath the valve cover cap nuts and help provide the clamping force and seal needed to prevent oil leaks.

Over time, the original rubber grommets can become hard, compressed, brittle, and flattened from years of engine heat and repeated heat cycles. Reusing old grommets when installing a new valve cover gasket can prevent the valve cover from sealing properly and may contribute to future oil leaks.

BMW M50, M50TU, S50, M52, S52, M52TU, and M54 engines use 15 valve cover grommets.

For these engines, order quantity 15 to replace the complete set.
