This dual temperature switch has two functions. Two pins send the coolant temperature to gauge cluster to read your engine coolant, and the other two pins, sends information to your DME to adjust your fuel to air ratio. If your engine is running rough, or your gauge cluster is not reading properly, this could be the culprit. Replaces yours with this high quality OE replacement.
