A 9.5" (ET35) wheel is a very common size for non-staggered wheels on E46 M3. It takes a 255-265-275 tire and still leaves plenty of clearance in the front and rear. Yes, an 18x10" is also available but will almost certainly rub on fenders, especially with broad Hoosier or Continental slick tires. The 9.5" with a summer tire also makes a great setup for drivers who are looking to advance their car control skills at the track. Less grip from a street tire will make you a better driver!
ET22 or ET35? On the E46 M3, either offset will work for 9.5" wide wheels. The ET35 is a better option, in our opinion, because it fits with the least amount of hassle. In the front the ET35 sits 7mm closer to the strut so it still clears most coil overs. ET22 would have even more clearance on the inside but there is the very likely chance that it will rub on the fender. For the rear you only need a 10-12mm wheel spacer to make it work. We would rather use the spacers for a perfect fit than have the wheels rub.
Rear wheel spacers are strongly recommended to avoid a "tucked in" look. Without the spacers the rear wheels will be further inboard than stock wheels. A 12mm spacer is perfect. A 10mm will also work but have inherent design limitations that almost guarantee fitment trouble on the rear hub.
The TA8S follows our forged TA16 and flow-formed TA5R wheels and adds timeless styling that looks amazing on almost any BMW model. The design will be instantly familiar to any BMW enthusiast but we added some unique touches to make it our own design - like spokes that reach all the way to the rim, extra machining on the outside of the Y-spoke, and a slight concave profile. Of course it's instantly familiar because it looks so good on so many cars. Does the world really need another "Style 163" wheel? No but we wanted to offer the best one on the market!
Our approach with the TA8S was to add back mass and durability where it would be beneficial, specifically in the barrel. The added strength is key to durability for potholes but also for the harsh race kerbing that will chew up featherweight wheels. The TA8S uses the latest flow-form manufacturing process to produce a light weight, strong, BMW track wheel with plentiful caliper clearance for street, track, autocross, and racing use.
Way more than simply a "replica", the TA8S has all of the features necessary to be one of the best flow-formed wheels on the market. Period.

Fitment Note: we do our best to display wheels that fit your BMW model, based on your model selection. This set has been specifically chosen for aggressive track/race use and minor compromises may be needed to fit wider rubber on these cars. Tire rubbing on bodywork and/or suspension is possible, depending on tire choice. Many variables must be considered for wheel fitment, especially when using larger wheels or different offsets. These variables include: suspension type and settings, ride height, tire size, bodywork changes, and alignment settings. In some cases, additional parts or modifications may be necessary for fitment that may not be listed in our catalog. Final wheel fitment and clearance is the responsibility of the customer, however, we welcome your questions on fitment, size, offset, or other wheel-related inquiries. Wheel returns are limited to quality issues only.
E46 M3 Note: this is a very aggressive size that may cause rubbing between tire and bodywork.
